About

Photography has been part of my life ever since my youth, more goal-oriented since 2010. I have been working in IT-sector, and as photographer I am mainly self-taught. I have studied Basic studies of Photography in open University. Many courses (Kameraseura, Luova, Työväenopisto) have been important to me in order to find my own style.

There have been many inspiring teachers like Liisa Söderlund, Milja Laurila, Tiina Puputti, Laura Nissinen, Marja Pirilä, Kirsi MacKenzie, Jussi Aalto ja Cristina Nuñez.

More than one very fine shot, I try to take photos of some theme or tell a story by the photos. In this way photographing has been linked me to new issues and new people and their lives. By means of camera I could have approached - people and issues.

I take normally photos without tripod and with nature light. I have Sony ILCE-7RM3 and fixed objectives 24mm, 35mm and 50mm.

Besides the photography I like to read books, watch movies and follow what’s happening in the world. I also like hike in the forest when ever it is possible.

I am a member of Kameraseura of Helsinki. I am also part of the group of the five photographers, who had organized several group-exhibition (valokiila.webnode.fi).
